WEEK 11 · 3 HOURS

Intensive Saber 11 Simulation and Error Analysis

Focus: Timed practice · error taxonomy

Complete timed practice and classify errors to build an individualized improvement plan.

Hour 1Input & inference
Hour 2Strategy & interaction
Hour 3Simulation & reflection
HOUR 1 · Input & Strategic Comprehension 60 MIN
Build comprehension before answering under test pressure.
1A · Academic Vocabulary
taxonomy
taxonomía
An error taxonomy organizes mistake types.
carelessness
descuido
Some errors come from not reading carefully.
timing
tiempo
Timing errors require pacing strategies.
inference
inferencia
Inference errors require evidence practice.
logic
lógica
Logic errors require relationship analysis.
distractor
distractor
Distractor errors require option comparison.
correction
corrección
A correction strategy targets the cause.
repeat
repetir
Repeat practice after correction.
1B · Visual Strategy

An error is useful when it is classified

After a simulation, do not only count wrong answers. Label each error: VOCABULARY, INFERENCE, LOGIC, DISTRACTOR, TIME or CARELESSNESS. Then choose a correction strategy.

Example 1

Error type matters more than score alone.

Example 2

Correction must target the cause.

Example 3

Repeat practice after applying a strategy.

1C · Inferential Listening

Question: Why can the same score require different improvement plans?

Two students can obtain the same score for very different reasons. One may misunderstand vocabulary, while the other reads accurately but spends too much time on difficult questions. Error analysis helps transform a score into an improvement plan. The best correction depends on the cause of the mistake.
Hour 1 · Submit
HOUR 2 · Strategy & Academic Interaction 60 MIN
Apply the strategy through dialogue, classification and justification.
2A · Guided Dialogues
Dialogue 1
Teacher: You both scored 70%, but your errors are different.
Student A: Mine were mostly inference.
Student B: Mine were timing.
Dialogue 2
Sara: I keep choosing distractors.
Mateo: Then practice explaining why each wrong option fails.
Dialogue 3
Teacher: What happens after correction?
Student: We repeat similar tasks to test whether the strategy works.
2B · Interactive Practice

HOUR 3 · Timed Application, Quiz & Reflection 60 MIN
3A · Saber 11 Strategy Challenge

PC Challenge: Write a short analysis: identify the question type, strategy, evidence and one likely distractor.
