WEEK 13 · 3 HOURS

Final Saber 11 Simulation

Focus: Full integration · timing · strategy transfer

Demonstrate strategic control in a final timed simulation and produce a final performance reflection.

Hour 1Input & inference
Hour 2Strategy & interaction
Hour 3Simulation & reflection
HOUR 1 · Input & Strategic Comprehension 60 MIN
Build comprehension before answering under test pressure.
1A · Academic Vocabulary
integrate
integrar
Integrate strategies instead of using them separately.
monitor
monitorear
Monitor time and confidence.
transfer
transferir
Apply strategies to unfamiliar texts.
justify
justificar
Justify answers with evidence.
eliminate
eliminar
Eliminate distractors strategically.
confidence
confianza
Confidence should come from process, not guessing.
performance
desempeño
Evaluate final performance with evidence.
reflection
reflexión
Identify what still needs improvement.
1B · Visual Strategy

Use the strategy automatically

The final goal is not to remember separate techniques. Read the QUESTION, identify the SKILL, select the right STRATEGY, locate EVIDENCE, manage TIME and justify the ANSWER.

Example 1

Choose strategy according to question type.

Example 2

Use evidence rather than intuition.

Example 3

Reflect on remaining error patterns.

1C · Inferential Listening

Question: What demonstrates strategic control in the final simulation?

In the final simulation, students should decide which strategy each question requires. A vocabulary question may need context clues, an inference question needs combined evidence, and a purpose question requires analysis of the entire message. After the test, the student should explain which strategies were most effective and which error type still appears.
Hour 1 · Submit
HOUR 2 · Strategy & Academic Interaction 60 MIN
Apply the strategy through dialogue, classification and justification.
2A · Guided Dialogues
Dialogue 1
Student: I used scanning for every question.
Teacher: Strategy must match the task.
Dialogue 2
Sara: I changed my answer because another option sounded more academic.
Mateo: Change it only if evidence supports the change.
Dialogue 3
Teacher: What will you take from this trimester?
Student: A process for analyzing questions instead of guessing.
2B · Interactive Practice
Strategy match
Hour 2 · Submit
HOUR 3 · Timed Application, Quiz & Reflection 60 MIN
3A · Saber 11 Strategy Challenge

PC Challenge: Write a short analysis: identify the question type, strategy, evidence and one likely distractor.
