Portfolio means evidence of growth

A portfolio should show BEFORE, AFTER and WHY. Include a first attempt, corrected version, feedback, strategy used and reflection. The goal is to demonstrate progress, not simply collect documents.

Example 1

Include corrected mistakes.

Example 2

Explain which strategy produced improvement.

Example 3

Set a future goal based on evidence.

1C · Inferential Listening

Question: What should a portfolio show besides final products?

A final portfolio should not contain only best work. It should also include selected mistakes and corrected versions because improvement is visible when the learner can explain what changed. A useful reflection connects evidence, strategy and future goals.
